Mark your calendar, 4/14 for 'A Spiritual Day Retreat'. Come experience a wonderful day of fun, shared learning, spiritual growth while making new friends. The new moon on January 23, 2012 at 2’ Aquarius, heralds the Chinese New Year, welcome Year of the Water Dragon! The Aquarian signature for upcoming weeks is one of freedom & individualism. A perfect month for freeing yourself of negative habits and patterns that inhibit personal growth. Re-examine your goals, dreams & visions and steer a new course for the upcoming year. Raising the bar for a higher level of independence in one’s life, will allow you to achieve a greater feeling of confidence and self-sufficiency. There will be a sense of frustration in trying to break though barriers until the 27th as Mercury (communication, travel, ideas, transportation) squares(stress) Saturn (limitations). After the 27 th, matters of communication will be less frustrating. Patience and persistence is the key. Guard against excess the last week of January, especially related to children and or travel.
Mars God of War, represents desire & action, physical energy, new initiatives, leadership, assertiveness and aggression. The evening of the new moon 1/23, Mars turns retrograde(rx)in earthy Virgo until April 13. Important new initiatives & projects are best held til after April 15 for release. Do the research & development to evolve your plan until then. If you must move forward do so knowing there will be extra work involved. Virgo rules matters of food, diet, fitness, healthcare products & service workers. Expect recalls and work disputes. Focus on improving your diet and fitness regime. Extending this cosmic signature to the world at large indicates frustration with any solutions to improve the financial picture, negotiations are slow and make little impact.
February 7 the full moon at 18’Leo opposes Mercury. Hasty words can cause major setbacks in international negotiations, groups & organizations not to mention our personal interactions. Saturn, (responsibilities, limits, boundaries, codes) turns RX this day applying an increased sense of pressure to those in leadership, parental or decision making roles. All news isn’t work …Venus (love, money, art) squares (stimulates) Mars (desire) the 1st week of Feb, a signature that can turn up the love and attraction dynamic between couples and stimulate the sales industries.
February 21, Neptune joins the new moon ( 2’Pisces), perfect symbol of Madri Gras, fantasy & illusion! Planets are not good or bad, but can express their energy in a range of negative to positive ways depending upon the circumstances. Neptune represents idealism versus delusion, dreams, psychic & creative abilities as well as fraud. The Neptunian influence starts as early as 2/13, making Feb. a month to develop your psychic & creative talents. Caution is indicated in matters requiring practical analysis and regarding computer & Internet viruses & hacking. Protect your identity, double check all travel arrangements and expect a level of misunderstandings in communications (2/13-24). Be alert, as daydreaming can create accidents or cause missed appointments. Practice grounding activities like yoga, martial arts, dance and meditation to court the positive range of Neptune.
A strong Piscean influence marks the New Moon charts of both Jan. & Feb, indicating uncertainty, creativity, storms with precipitation and psychic energy (not to mention strange sounds) in the air.
